The Department has world class status lecture halls within the Kenyatta National Hospital premises fully equipped with television sets, LCD projectors and public address systems.
Faculty of Health Sciences has a state of the art library which serves all the students in the Faculty. The Library is fully equipped with current learning materials both in soft and hard. The library is housed within the Faculty's premises at Kenyatta National Hospital.
The Department of Anaesthesia, University of Nairobi, is playing a vital part in increasing professional capacity in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in Somalia. Dr Dalha Daher, who is one of our newly joined M.Med Anaesthesia students, will be one of less than five Physician level Anaesthesiologists in the Republic of Somalia when he finishes.
